Self-Care for Everyday Heroes
Remembering the Forgotten Servant- A Guide to Healing
For centuries, wars have been fought between workers and those in power due to the lack of respect for duties performed, earning non-livable wages, and enduring unfavorable work conditions. Even those who have identified their passions and purposes struggle to remain in certain work environments due to mismanagement, lack of integrity, poor treatment, and being overworked. Workers are feeling the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual effects of working in unhealthy environments and are concluding that the price paid isn’t worth the salary earned.

This book is designed to help you analyze how well you are doing in your current workplace situation and career path. It will challenge you to reflect on whether you are honoring your gifts and talents and help you take bold steps to ensure that you are living a healthy and fulfilled life, releasing yourself from workplace induced anxiety and stress.
Michelle Stella Rose Dugué
Stella Rose Dugué walks by faith and not by sight. She was forced to prioritize her mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional health after realizing the stress from her work environment had taken its toll, resulting in reproductive issues requiring major surgery. She believes a wise man learns from other's mistakes and is using her story to inspire others to take care of themselves so they can fulfill their God-given purpose in life. She earned her master’s degree in educational psychology at the University of Connecticut. Stella currently works as a youth organizer for a law firm, partnering with teenagers to impact juvenile justice reform. Stella’s joy comes from serving the “underserved”, especially in educational settings, working with youth for over 20 years. She currently lives in Connecticut with her lovely family. She assists her husband in running Athletes R Us, a non-profit athletic training program promoting health and wellness in the Hartford, CT area.
